We stayed in an Airbnb in Adelaide a year or so ago and they had a portable weber bbq, gas and it was great. Quite a small one but it cooked well. So much so that when we did up our garden last year DH wanted a big Weber bbq, which is equally good. Still need a cover for it though.

Have you thought about a Weber Kettle? They are brilliant, last 20 years. Well worth the money. I have one. Had it 10+ years I think and still like new. They do small portable versions.
I have a Weber Summit Kamado on order as I am upgrading from my smaller ceramic Kamado. I only cook over lump wood. Weber just brought out a very fancy portable gas grill that collapses down. It is £400 but looks good- bbqworld/weber-bar...RoCibYQAvD_BwE

We have the Boss version of it here and the Coleman version at the villa thanks for posting a pic I don’t know about the Webber one but we love both of ours especially the Coleman one you can use small cans of gas makes it very portable or the converter kit if using a standard size gas |

When I worked in a garden centre we used to sell quite a few of the Weber Q range. Some of the staff had them as well. Very good to use easy to build and transport around. Only need the small propane bottle (can be expensive) and you're ready to go. If the price you quote includes the stand it's pretty good.

I’m big into BBQ and currently have a ceramic Kamado. I need something bigger though - I was going to get a Big Joe, but the summit cooks exactly the same and is the same size at half price, and won’t crack.
The wonderful thing about a Kamado is they are awesome for low and slow, I did a brisket on Thursday, 10 hours over applewood at 220f- but you can quickly crank up the heat to 500,600f for searing and wood fired pizzas etc.

Thank you. Yes it does include the stand. Couldn’t find it anywhere near that price else where so I have actually just ordered it. I hope it comes in time for next Monday. Four nights in a caravan 40 minutes from home and I don’t think I have looked forward to a break so much !
