I think we’ll be ok. just spend more time at the pool and water parks and visit a few more of the springs.
Another place to visit, if you've not been, is Crystal river. We went in august and it was a real highlight of the trip, swimming with the manatees. There's a really sweet cake shop nearby too!

We approached it as Disney being “somewhere else” . I’m not a fan of DS so didn’t feel the need to go there for a Disney fix. We had the brilliantly priced DC with SW, BG and Aquatica add on with free parking (we did non swim as we hate cold water and the water is dolphin temp not human temp unlike the rest of DC) .
Depending on when you go SW and BG do their versions of food festivals and concerts too .
It made us realise that Florida doesn’t have to mean Disney *every* trip and we saw and did so much more and best of all could be more spontaneous with plans.

When we go in November, DW and myself will only do Seaworld and Busch Gardens. We will do both parks at least twice and possibly three times depending on the weather. This is despite having already been to the parks in excess of 40 times.
The rest of the time we will spend on day trips to the Gulf Coast.
