Booking a villa through property management company
Has anyone any experience booking a villa through a property management company? The last 2 villas i booked were private owners and I carried out the various 'checks' before booking. Many of the villas i'm coming across on VRBO for Storey Lake are property management companies so i'm not able to check paid taxes/ ownership e.t.c

The one thing you should be aware of, especially if you are used to choosing your own villa and booking with the owner direct, is that the management company will not be able to guarantee 100% that any named villa you book with them will be available.
Your rental contract will be with the agent who will 'own' your booking and if the villa owner decides to change management company, you will be reallocated to another property within the management company's portfolio which may, or may not be equivalent to the one you chose. If you booked direct with an owner, any change of management company has no affect on your booking of that particular property. This may not be of concern to you, but the more specific the requirements you have for a villa, the more you might worry whether you get the property you initially choose and how you would feel if you were reallocated somewhere else which didn't meet your expectations.
