my dh got beaten up by security guards in Tenerife as a lad. Him and his mates were a bit loud and took a picture off the wall in the hallway, they opened their bedroom door to a beating with truncheons!

They were Belgian Police Officers in Antwerp. Two of us were in a bar and we chatted to the wrong girls. The locals picked a fight, but were not very good at it as my colleague whilst having lightning fists, had a very small brain. The Police arrived and we were the only two arrested. We were put in separate cells, given a hiding around a couple of hours later, interviewed and then thrown out in the morning.
