First time driving in months

Well I took my car out today it’s been in hibernation in the garage for almost 14 months went in there in February last year before we went to the US and stayed there
Have people got so used to the roads being quiet they have forgotten how to use roundabouts ,indicators , give way and stop signs never mind park
If it wasn’t so early I’d have a stiff drink to calm my nerves
I don’t usually have road rage but Gds 3 couldn’t wait to dob
Me in to Grandpa about what expletive I used more than once
Rant over car safely returned to garage now where is the gin

You know I found exactly the same on Monday when I was out- was the first time shops were open so town was busy, but had to toot the horn a few times- quite a few people going through red lights and plenty who couldnt decide which lane they wanted in. Was glad to get home after that.

I’ve been driving throughout, so no difference to me.
However, driving standards were shocking before Covid. I think you’ve just forgotten as you’ve not been on the roads for a while 😉

May well be as DH has driven if we have gone anywhere but it was really shocking today
