Ooh I wouldn’t be happy either, what a blinking cheek!

The right hand side of my garden backs onto a track with garages. A few years back there was an arson attack on a few cars and one of my fence panels got a scorching and I ended up with a few burn holes. At the time I didn’t have the money to replace the fence so I planted a rambling rose and within a year it had well and truly ‘rambled’ and covered the whole fence! I’ll try and find a photo to show

He can paint his side all the colours of the rainbow if the wind takes him but leave the paint off my side 🤣

Sounds a perfect solution x
How have you secured it? Trellis or wire and eyelets?

Sorry just realised I didn’t reply yesterday!

Not a great image but it’s covered up the biggest holes and it has grown so tall I’m forever trimming it down. Seeing this photo reminded me there was a clematis that I planted too, but I somehow killed it so I’ve just got the rose now.
In the background you can see the blue ceonothus and that started life in a small pot and look at the size now! I think that took less than 2 years to get to that height, again I’m forever giving it a haircut as it grows like a weed!

Looks perfect thankyou. Should give some added privacy with the extra height at the top too.
