When I was a child we had supper as a little snack in the evening between dinner and bed.

That’s why they were called dinner ladies at school not lunch ladies!
I’m gonna be controversial, I’m a Yorkshire lass and I have breakfast, lunch and tea. Only have dinner on Sunday’s and Christmas, or if I’m feeling posh. Like tonight we had an anniversary dinner, but it was actually our tea 🤣🤣🤣

In better times I'm a lady who lunches, I'm sure that phrase is used in the North too.

It’s only a northern meal if you had 6 bread with it and licked the plate clean afterwards...

We must live in a posh part of the north west - ‘dinner ladies’ are called lunchtime supervisors!
Breakfast, lunch, tea but when I was a child it was breakfast, dinner, tea.

North West here and it’s breakfast, lunch and dinner for us.
I’ve never had chips with curry, might have to give it try.
For us us it’s curry and rice, Naan bread. Might even have some bhajis and popadoms if it’s the weekend.

Our school calls the catering staff midday assistants.

This looks revolting something I have not seen before living in the south. Think eating curry and chips is a brave enough but curry sauce and chips is definitely a big NO.

I have really missed my lady who lunches with my friends and am looking forward to when we can start them again without the restriction of 6.
