Hopefully mask on flights policies will ease further by Oct, esp if we're all being tested before hand
Ah yeah, my eldest is 7 so she'd be totally fine on the flight but my youngest will have just turned 3, no chance I'd get one on him for a 10 hour flight

It's so difficult for these toddlers I really do hope they change it in time for your holiday. I do think lots will change between now and Oct

26th for us for 14 nights, moved from August last year. It's our first time. Hoping to see both the Halloween and Christmas decorations.

Yes me too. I’m very hopeful with everything crossed! It should be a very different situation in October you’d hope

We love having a drink in the hot tub after putting the kids to bed etc so we found a lovely Dibb villa and booked it. Now i'm super excited!

Has anyone else got little kids and hoping to be going in October? How are you feeling about the potential masks on the flight? I don't think masks will be required outdoors at disney by October, maybe indoors but thats ok. But the mask mandate for kids on the flight is the only thing really holding me back from getting excited that we will actually get to go
i share your feeling about villas with kids
we have a villa booked for over halloween cant wait
mask wise my kids are 10/10/11/12 with the 11 year old being autistic but we have always made them wear them here and theyre used to it
i do think we will all be gasping for a free breath when we get to the rental car tho.

mine find the blue hospital style ones easier to cope with than material ones

My two are 7 and 4 and they don't mind the prospect of masks. Might be different 2 hours into the flight...

My concern is the tests. None of us has done one to date, and I'm so hopeful that they'll not be required by October. But if we have to do them out bound and return, I think once the kids know what's coming, they'll put up a fight. But then again, there's a suggestion that won't need them on the home bound journey, so fingers crossed

Tests we've had to do as we all actually had COVID last year, but again the 2 year old hasn't had one. He had to quarantine with us by default anyway so we didn't put him through it. He's only 2 now though and not a great talker or communication wise yet so he's not even at the stage where I can start to explain and get him used to wearing one. He just won't and he's stubborn as hell!

I am still aiming for October but I need to wait until my son who is moving schools in year 11 has his place confirmed by the new school. He has to do some assessment tests I'm on at them all the time to get them booked. His current school only has 1 week in October his new school will have a fortnight fingers crossed we can book before it becomes too expensive
