Rather than trying to second guess, which can cause stress, why don't people just book as normal. It's what I've done (rescheduled this September's trip to next September) and if it gets cancelled again then I'll deal with it. In the meantime it's lovely to have something to look forward to 😀😀

I can completely understand this and I really need that too. But the problem for me is that I won't be able to look forward to it when there are so many hurdles to leap over first and so much to stress over. I also could not be there in August with the heat if we still have to wear masks.

Basically we have decided to wait and perhaps book something late notice if things are looking good - or for somewhere else if it comes to it. The planning and anticipation is always such a big part of the holiday for me and one of the reasons I am willing to pay so much for this destination as the enjoyment is about far more than just the two or three weeks. I just don't want to book without being sure, as much as you normally can be, that we are going to go or it will just be no fun .

We are booked 19th august and i would say im 70/30 at the moment. We have booked 18 nights at cabana bay which i was debating changing to a split stay going to disney first however i think im going to stick. Reasons being i do think there will be some restrictions still in place and the cost of disney is eye watering if its not going to be the full experience. Plus if masks are still a thing we may just spend 18days pool hoping/volcano bay with very short bursts in the park- i am happy to pay universals prices for that experience and after this year it would still feel like heaven! Lol

This is my mindset too. I think I’m going to push it back to 2022.

We have booked mid August for Disney, Universal and then 5 days at the beach. We are really hoping that most of the vulnerable folk will have been vaccinated by then and so social distancing and mask wearing will hopefully be relaxed outside and in restaurants etc. I guess that if the choice is between a mask free Europe or a Covid effected Florida we might change our minds and go to Disneyand Paris.

Plenty could, and most probably will change before we have to make any serious decisions. On the up side, Vaccines are being rolled out all over the place so things should start to improve soon. Fingers crossed.

I’ve said the same in my head often. You’re definitely right. I’m just feeling a bit stir crazy at the moment. I need a fix of fantasy in all this doom!

We were due to go August 2020 then rebooked for August 2021 but the idea of sitting in a large metal tube for 9 hours wearing a mask and then having to wear one in the heat does not appeal so we'll be waiting until 2022.

Equally, the lack of free Disney dining means we wouldn't entertain staying onsite.

Good news this morning! Hopefully we’ll all be able to travel safely with minimal risk by the time our holidays come around 🤞🏼

I am booked for May 21, looking at potentially rescheduling for The last 2 weeks of August, how busy is august in a normal year?
