Anyone had a few days away in Savannah Georgia ? We fancy a few days away in Georgia as we don't do the parks that often.

Savannah is gorgeous. Lovely restaurants, history and u have to do a ghost walk! Also either watch the movie or read the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil to set the scene.

We did a few days in Savannah a couple of years ago, drove up from Florida. The weather was fab, the people were so friendly and in the 3 days there we abandoned the car & walked everywhere, looking at the beautiful buildings, went on the riverboat lunch cruise and explored the many parks and historical sites. Highly recommend.

We did a trolley tour with a great guide to get our bearings then went back to the places we liked the look of. It`s a very pretty city, easy to get round.. We also did a paddle steamer trip at sunset, beautiful

We fell in love with Savannah when we stayed for 6 nights a couple of years ago

We used the free trolley bus to get around

There are some amazing restaurants and everyone we met was super friendly

Its such a pretty place, just wandering around the streets was amazing
