Where to buy clothes
First and foremost - I am aware this is a super first world problem. I know there are far bigger issues happening and that I am the least affected by the changes that have occurred in retail.
Right, with that out of the way - I'm looking for suggestions on where to buy clothes. For everyday casual and work wear, I was a fan of Oasis & Warehouse. Since they have been bought over by Boohoo, they've just gone massively downhill. It's like a weird imitation of what someone thinks each brand should be. Misses the general demographic of the brands by swapping out thinner fabrics, plenty see through jumpers on Oasis and with Warehouse, it seems to be they think making it all monochromatic hits the nail on the head. Not quite right. Anyway, I digress. I'm looking for a mid level high street replacement. New Look is fine in a pinch and whilst I am a TB fanatic, I can't source every item from there and still go on multiple holidays (when permitted). Anyone got a hidden gem? Some brand I've maybe overlooked? |

I love Whistles. Timeless, simple and great quality. They have had some great sales too, which is a bonus. Also Ted Baker has some lovely dressy/colourful pieces, for whenever we get to go out again.

I have bought the majority of my workwear from Boden for the last 8 or so years. For casual I like Whitestuff and Seasalt.

I feel exactly the same - at one point my entire wardrobe was from Oasis! I've switched to Next and get my jeans from Topshop.

I use to shop at oasis , warehouse and always Dorothy Perkins as they have a petite section . I have some ted baker dresses and would always look in coast for something special., The quality is no where near what it was..
Without going out i have a few unworn outfits I would like to wear . Wondering with everyone having to rely online and being stuck indoors if it will make people want to go back to the high street again. |
