Tipping for Drinks?
Just a little question, as it's always bothered me... your opinions, thoughts?
We love going to Halloween Horror Nights when we get out to Orlando, and as we're soaking up the atmosphere and getting ourselves all scared in the houses we'll frequent the little pop up bars - selling premixed drinks and beers etc. On the receipt, they always have the 'standard' tipping calculations that you often see in restaurants - 15, 18, 20% or similar. But I always tip a dollar a drink, instead. I generally do that anywhere tbh, unless I'm getting a fancy cocktail mixed! Do you think that's correct?

Would you tip 15 - 18% at Starbucks when you buy a coffee? My answer would be no. If I am seated at a table with waitress service that would be different. The same goes for the pop up bars where you queue up in universal. I usually leave a dollar if the server has been pleasant.

I usually tip a dollar a drink in a bar if I am out in America.
Sometimes if the drink is super fancy and actually requires decent mixing and costs $15 I might tip $2. |

Thanks for asking the question. I'm glad to see that I'm in of the same opinion as the other posters.

Should we tip in Epcot when we buy a drink to walk round with?

AquaL not sure on that one I'd generally say no,I think Tipping your bar staff is standard practice but I had read that $1 a drink was standard. I'd guess that at HHN they are using the same receipt "generator" but of course they could also be chancing it
