We need flights for February but I'm waiting to see if my May holiday gets cancelled first so I can use the flight credit... hope it doesn't bite me in the bum lol

I’m tempted. We only get a week off and Saturday to Saturday flights are still looking a bit expensive. I’m hoping the price drops closer to what we paid Feb 2020. Such a lovely time to go.

We went in Feb 2019 and 2020 half-terms, both time Saturday - Saturday (landing back Sunday morning) so no school was missed and on both occasions we only booked flights 2-3 weeks in advance, and picking up "Dibb villas" that were otherwise sitting empty.
We flew indirect both times, but with pretty early flights out of LHR and, because we cleared immigration at Charlotte on both occasions and were cabin-bags only (as only there for a week) we breezed through MCO and onto our villa in very good time. As you say - it's a great time to go - we had amazing weather on both trips and the water parks, in particular, were fantastic - perfect weather and almost no one there so minimal wait times compared to our regular summer trips. |

That is positive getting flights so late on. I always worry when it is such a narrow window for being back for work/school. I think we booked in the October for Feb 2020 and ended up on Aer Lingus with Immigration cleared in Dublin, that was great.
I'm also tempted by October and currently pricing that up, although that maybe feels a little soon.

We’ve booked for Feb half term too. Booked with BA the day flights came out. Direct flights from Heathrow to MCO and 7 nights at Rosen Plaza. £757 each. Happy with that. Fingers crossed it actually happens 🤞

Rosen Plaza is a great hotel. I love it there.
We booked with BA as well via Heathrow for 7 nights. I’ve booked a mix of resorts all on site at Universal. We did Feb 2020 for a week at universal and had an amazing time.
