Our eldest is 18 and with a beard. We have never been challenged and simply book a family room.

Our eldest DS was 25 when he last stayed in a PI room with us in 2019! There were 2 double beds in the room so all was fine. We just left him in the. At for 5 mins so he wasn’t walking in with us and e did self check in.

My son is autistic with learning problems and it would not be safe for him to be in, His own room, I rang the Gatwick airport up when we last went and they said it was absolutely fine.

It’s a bit naughty but I’ve stayed in these rooms with 3 of my friends (all in our 20s) we just got one person to go check in while the rest stood outside. No ones ever said anything. We all fit so I don’t see why it’s a problem.

I’m sure you and your group were perfectly well behaved. Unfortunately many such groups will not be. If PI were to allow adult parties to occupy rooms, especially in city centres and particularly resorts like Blackpool it would cause so many complaints from other customers and damage PI’s reputation. Premier Inns are usually cheap enough for a party of 4 adults to book 2 rooms.

We have in the past shared a room with our adult son. The last time we only checked in at 2am and we had left by 11 ! I wasn’t booking 2 rooms for a few hours sleep.

I still book our son in to many hotels as a 12 year old. He is almost 16 and never been stopped. For Premier Inn we just book a family room. The trick is to just check in while your family walk around. Only one person needs to check in.

Our son is 18 in May and he always stays in a room with us and we use premier inns a few times a year.In August last year when he was 17 we were questioned by the receptionist about his age.DH jumped straight in and said he was 17.She reminded us of the policy and told us for future stays to book 2 rooms. We’ve not been anywhere since then but if we go away this year I think I’ll book 2 rooms as I’m worried she may have put his age on our account,if that’s even possible?

I'm going to leave mine in the car while checking in. However unless you were asked his name they would not know and I would imagine data protection rules means they cant keep such info.
