Weber bbq
I wondered if anyone had a Weber Barbecue ? We are after something portable for this years UK holidays.
Son prefers gas and he does the barbecuing so it will need to be a gas one ! I have seen the Weber Q2000 on offer and wondered if anyone had any experience of it, how many people it is suitable for and general pros/ cons please. Thanks in advance for any replies ! |

Not a Webber but after buying our Coleman tail gate BBQ for the villa ( it takes up way less space in our owner locker ) we bought a Boss one for here again takes up less storage space and can be put in the back of our pickup if we are going somewhere
It’s big enough to use for 6/8 people has a temp gauge easy to clean Only disadvantages here it was twice the price for the same thing and it’s not lightweight but has wheels so easy to move into place |

Thank you. I haven’t heard of Boss. I’ll have a look. I have found the Weber for £299.

We have a Weber, was looking at that or outback and was advised to get a Weber
Glad we did! Used it quite a few times and only had it a few weeks

Yes, but ours isn't portable so probably not a lot of help. Really happy with it though, ours is the Genesis.

We have a Weber spirit one. It’s definitely not portable but I absolutely love it.
Great bbq taste. Easy to use and clean. And I was the one who was set against gas bbqs |

Thank you. I don’t think £300 for the q2000 is too bad especially if it is a good one. Do you find the one you have is good for a family and also adequate if we have guests ? I keep looking at the pizza ovens but I think we will get more use out of the barbecue especially when we go away.
