Windsor Hill’s Resort
Hi, looking to book for this resort for next year. However what is the local area like? We are going with my parents (plus my partner and son) but my parents have no interest in Disney etc and will spend most of the time exploring the area. They like having a walk to a bar etc so I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there’s anything like that within walking distance? Thanks

Also, can anyone recommend if this is a good place to stay? We won’t be hiring a car

Walmart is a 20/25 min walk then a few mins more on to the 192 for restaurants etc
But hardly anyone walks it’s just too hot MargaritaVille there are some lovely restaurants and bars there and the water park Rolling Oaks restaurants shops and Target but again that’s a good walk Windsor Hills is lovely you could look at the Uber ride cost app to see how much you would be to get anywhere if not hiring a car |

When I responded to your first post asking for general planning advice you said you were happy to hire a car?
Loads of Dibbers recommend Windsor Hills and how you can easily Uber everywhere. I've never sat in a Uber so can't help on getting around. At least a 2.5 mile walk to the nearest restaurants on 192 I'd guess. Mick

We were going to hire a car but after looking into it and the size of car we’d need etc we don’t think we will be, my parents wouldn’t drive on the other side of the road so it would fall to me and my boyfriend, and we’ll be at the parks all day so the car would sit ununsed.
I’ll check on Uber now to price it up. Thanks! |

Mick I’m giving time to Walmart from the front gate if at the back of the estate it can easily be a 10 min walk to the gate alone
