Yeah - better than BRV though as it’s got an area near the door where you can put cases, and under bed storage. BRV doesn’t even have that. Mrs YT also thought its in need of a refurb which it is. I’m holding off BRV I’ve decided until it’s refurbed-it’ll be amazing then in a 1 bed. I can’t cope with grief from Mrs YT so anything to keep her happy!

I think they would have to provide some sort of QS - if only so Disney can extract a few more $$ from you.

I have no idea how big a refurb it is though- if they totally close the main house it would be a bit pants, lets face it this refurb is more to do with money saving in a resort with no bookings than actually a refurb

Yep I totally agree

I have a feeling when they closed GCH before they set up a temporary QS somewhere, but I suspect they will be looking to refurb (cough) at the lowest possible cost so who knows where or what it will be!

This is the problem- the great unknown. It may be amazing with both pools open, QS open, minimal building work and lovely and quiet (which I like).
Alternatively it might be like a ghost town, they may decide to close the big pool (who will pay for it all otherwise the DVC owners?), no quick serve or a poor shed type set up, rows of barriers up, cherry pickers and machinery etc.
We have no idea.
I personally wasn’t willing to risk it as Mrs YT and the kids would have given me no end of grief. Shame as I was really looking forward to it and think I’d rather try it than VGF in normal times.
