Easter 2018

Hey guys. We're having to go early nest year to tie in with school holidays and will be there from the 6th through to the 27th of April. I can see that Easter falls on the 1st of the month next year. Should the crowd levels have dropped a bit by the time we have our first park day on the 7th or will it still be a bit mental? Also does anyone know when the park hours come out for April? Thanks B

Park hours are released 180 days before, same as ADRs.

Crowd predictors aren't showing drop off until Sunday 8th, presumably as people who booked off the week after Easter will head home that day. So your first day may be busy, but should then remain moderate for the rest of the month.

Hiya - we went 2016 when Easter was early (end March) - and the week after Easter was manic - the week after that it started to ease off a bit, but to be honest was still busy - but it didn't really matter to us - With the parks, we tend to go early/leave early first week, then go later and leave late second week.

(We were there on Easter Sunday and it did not get too manic till early afternoon.)

7th next year is a Sat - it will be busy, plan for that and you will be fine.

Thanks for that. I had expected it to be busy first week of the month but was hoping it would ease off a bit. We would normally get to the park for opening and then leave between 12 and 1pm and then go to another park in the evenings so that should work for us.

Take a look at the Easter groups on here - I was in Easter 2016, I know there is a 2017 and probably a 2018 too... People in the same boat sharing info before/during and after their trips - very valuable information about stuff you don't even think of in some cases (Universal grad bash, Mardi Gras nights, Seaworld Easter morning open air church service, Publix closed Easter Sunday etc)
