Ideas for what to do outside of parks

Here now and had planned on going to Clearwater tomorrow but there is chance of rain there tomorrow and don't want to drive all that way and be stuck in the rain. Driving around Orlando area today is super busy as it's labour day weekend so also won't want to risk parks as I'm sure they are going to be packed, really hoping Tuesday is going to quieten down a lot.

Kennedy space centre if you haven't been before? I went there today and it was great, not many people, got to see enough to fill a whole day, and mostly indoors!

Would second Kennedy - we love it as a "get-out-of-the-sun" day... could be used as a "get-out-of-the-rain" day too...

I don't know the age mix of your party but, with two under 10's we had a really enjoyable trip to the Orlando Science Centre during our last trip.
