Borrowed points

I borrowed a few points for my Dec reservation as I didn’t have quite enough after renting quite a few out, and I had Cooper Creek and Vero booked for August. I’ve cancelled those now, will they let me swap my current years points for the 30 or so I borrowed for Xmas and unborrow them do you think?

I’ve still got to call ticketing and try and get my DVC special tickets refunded for August😩

Not exactly the same as your situation, but DVC MS have swapped points around for me on 2 occasions. First when I cancelled august they shifted all my banked points to my December reservation, and then today having rented out my remaining banked points they did a swap on a handful of points as I booked a riviera studio with a newer contract (which fell under the old 14 resort rule) and this used this years allocation rather than banked points, so they swapped them out with another reservations points.

Hope this makes sense, but it would seem they can do it as long as they are happy to return your borrowed points.

I called MS on the dot at 2pm and had a 4 minute wait.

Let us know how you get on. We bought some just to get the park passes, which we now won’t be able to use.

They said non-refundable, but we could use the value towards future ticket purchases. We’d prefer the cash back the way things are, so good luck.
