Best camera to start with?
Dd is 15 and is interested in photography. She’s of an age where she continually changes her mind so I want to buy her a camera that is good enough to explore with but not too much of a waste if it’s a fad? Any recommendations?

Look on the wexphotovideo.com website at their used dslr's. A versatile kit lens of something 18-120 ( or up to 200) with give them most options in one lens.

I would look to an older, but quality DSLR on the second hand market.
It is unfortunate that I sold a Canon EOS 40d with just 1700 shots fired for just £130 on eBay, a few months back. It was in ‘as new’ condition. That imho would have been perfect! I bought the camera because it came with 3 x Canon AF and stabilised lenses. I then sold the camera body and purchased a Canon EOS77d body. A similar deal may be a good way to go.. good quality camera, superceded and thus at a bargain price.
