Mobile ordering stopped at Universal

Universal have stopped mobile food ordering in their theme park restaurants. Not sure why or if it will return. I'm sure they must have a reason why. The only places that are doing it are Richter’s Burger Co. and Leaky Cauldron, which are now displaying as “Table Delivery” in the app.

I used mobile ordering at Disney and it's great and planned on doing the same at Universal. You couldn't do it on the Universal dining plan which I had last time so I'd never used it at Universal before.

Seems strange in covid times to get rid of it.

Coincidence that you've just posted this. I was looking at the Universal app last night in prep for our trip and thought the Mobile Ordering page wasn't loading properly as there was only a handful of places coming up. Shame if they have got rid of it - I can't see the reason either!

Was there an official communication?

Don't understand why they've stopped it - in August 2019 it was up and running at some places, even if not all. Seems very odd to stop it now!
