Car hire from Disney car centre

We are booked for Animal Kingdom lodge, how do you go about getting to the Disney car centre to pick up a hire car? Always previously picked up from the Dolphin whilst staying at Beach/Yacht club so no idea how to do this!

They provide a complimentary shuttle - just call in advance to reserve a collection from anywhere on property.

It really is, go to the front desk, and they will call them for you, give the time you want picking up, wait outside the hotel , and they will pull up outside .

They will take you to the car center , and that’s it .

You can get them to pick you up from either your hotel or directly from the park, the last two trips we have been picked up directly from the park (Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom respectively while staying at SSR / OKW). Both times I really regretted doing this, I think the best way to do it if you want to collect from a park is to arrange collection from the nearest hotel to the park you are at on that day (particularly if at Magic Kingdom). Then you can wait in air conditioning rather than stood on baking concrete!

The car care centre is excellent. You can also ring a number from your room to arrange. Do it the day before. No one else was in when I used it and they gave me an upgrade. If you are dropping it off there as I was make sure you don’t pay fir fuel- you drive through Speedway to get into the place.
