Oh i love these sorts of threads
I agree with most of the previous mentioned must do things these are some of our must do's: * photo with an oversized item of food A la vloggers * eat Mickey shaped items...pretzel, waffle etc * at least once one of us must forget our magic band in the room and have to run back while the others are waiting for the bus * cast compliment...at least one per trip * make magic for another family...doesn't have to be a big thing, gift a dining credit or give away balloon etc * set the alarm for earlier than we would for work/school and leap out of bed all excited...usually only at the beginning of a trip Oooh, also, when we've run out of must do ideas, can someone start a 'firsts for us' thread i love those too we've got loads of things we've never done before that we simply must check off the list.

Magic Kingdom on the ferry pre park opening on the first day when you wake up really early. If I could bottle that feeling I’d be a millionaire.

No the opposite there's always someone who goes out of their way to help us. Perhaps we just require a lot of help

This thread is making me sadly nostalgic… it doesn’t help that I should be there now, and I keep getting Facebook memories up of previous years 😢

Lots of great stuff here especially in Walt's 47 square miles but not many in Florida's other 65,700 square miles.
How about a day trip to AMI, Celebration just for a Kilwins sitting by the lake in the rockers, Harry Leu Gardens, Bok Tower, Scenic Lake ride at Winter Park, ditto with canals at Mount Dora etc etc. For those missing Splash Mountain this was our last ride in 2010. Before the days of lap restraints and for anyone worried about H&S it was taken with a "proper" camera with a wrist strap. Mick

Excited about Disney
|
I thought of some more must do's, there's just so many!
Burger at the Backlot Express in MGM (I never eat theme park burgers except in there) Buy a true crime book in Barnes & Noble as well as any Calvin and Hobbes Compendiums I can find that I don't have (this has been a tradition for probably 20 years!) Get the chicken and gnocchi soup in Olive Garden Go on Living With The Land and the People Mover if I get on nothing else! When my mum comes with us go on The Muppets so she can have a snooze in the air conditioning Walking round a park with one of those Bud Lights in an aluminium bottle. They just don't taste right anywhere else! Having achy feet and calves and jumping in a pool as soon as I get back to the villa or hotel There's tonnes of must do's that are brand new to me as I haven't been in a couple of years like new rides, parades, fireworks etc but to me what makes me excited is some of the old things that we enjoy so much. Everyone has their own for their families and it's what makes the holidays so lovely. |
