It doesnt look barbie pink in the daylight photos, bit in the lit up one. I quite like it. If it was bright barbie day-glo pink in the sun...no no no! The golden swags on the turrets would be lost if it was that shcocking highlighter pink Barbie loves.

Hmm, not sure about the new look castle... although Disney isn’t exactly known for subtlety 😂
I can’t wait to see the castle next year whether it’s peach, pink or bright green!

 It might be surprising to some, but I actually liked the birthday cake castle. I liked it because it was so different. It's not just a slight repaint of the existing castle. It's in your face and over-the-top, gleefully celebrating the 25th birthday of MK and WDW. It fits in with the whole theme park vibe - which, let's face it, is not some subtle piece of art. And, in hindsight, it's looks themed to the Sugar Rush part of Wreck-It-Ralph.  Would I have wanted it to stay like that forever? Heck, no! But for a special birthday occasion, I thought it was great. I do realise that I'm very much in the minority here.
