Help cancelling flights and tickets
Hi all, has anyone got any advice on cancelling flights and car with BA and tickets with ATD?
Every time I call BA I just get cut off! The payment is due on Tuesday, and I know in my booking terms I can take a voucher instead but because it’s a package I have to speak to them and I can’t get through! Also with ATD it says to send tickets back and they will refund (I paid extra for the insurance) but I am so scared to put £1800 of tickets in the post without at least speaking to them first. I sent an email but no reply yet. I work Mon-Fri 9-5 so can’t sit on the phone for hours during the week. |

Ba are a nightmare to get hold of! I was on the phone dead on 8am yesterday and it still took an hour and a half
Go on the help tab and in there is a Covid 19 travel hub You can apply for a voucher in there

Will they do that for flights + car? I wasn’t sure if that was flights only?

Thank you, I just managed to find the page that says you can do it that way, so I’ll try that.

I returned my theme park tickets signed for recorded delivery, I was concerned but this was what they advised. I was getting a bit worried when I hadn't heard from them for two weeks but it was all sorted and I am just waiting for new ones. As for BA, if they are anything like Aer Lingus then I would try late on. Managed to get through at 9.30 in the evening after a 20 minute wait.

We rang about cancelling our tickets - they were only open certain hours and we got through quickly - we had the insurance. they gave us an address and we had to return them by registered post it cost £10 to send them. they arrived at their destination the following day and now are waiting for the refund that could take 2/3 weeks they said.

For ATD tickets I also had to send them back - did it via post office signed for and they were at ATD by 11am the next morning.
I found best way to contact them was through Facebook messenger if you have Facebook. Very quick reply and got refund sorted through sending back tickets. Refund took just over 2 weeks after they received the tickets.
