I am 52 and managed to get mine on Tuesday at a huge federally run site in Orlando. No appointments needed and run very efficiently. Only added over 50's on Monday.

The Orange County site at the Convention Center is the one that is doing over 40's. They had all appointments booked within minutes of opening online.

Seen on the local news (Orange County) that 7000 appointments went in just over 10 minutes of opening up, fantastic uptake.

Got my first shot yesterday at the Convention Center with my 2nd scheduled for 3 weeks time. Never left the car and was in and out in less than 30 minutes including the 15 minute wait time post jab.

DW is due to get her 2nd shot tomorrow at the Valencia West FEMA site which is where I think you got yours DonnaD.

Yes it was. I was automatically given a 2nd appointment in exactly 3 weeks. I didn't even have to fill in any paperwork. They just scanned the barcode on my driver's license added my email and phone number and stuck a barcode sticker on my shoulder.

I just hope most of the people not wanting it will change their minds. I have one friend who has already despite being an anti-vaxxer for years. The main problem here is going to be Republican men with 50% not planning to get it. I can't believe a pandemic has become such a political issue.
