I've got 4 wall cupboards going wall to wall and have no end panels in between them. In fact just looked around and no end panels until the end of the runs - if you get me The plinth and cornice mean that you don't notice that it is separate units, photos below but not sure if you can see what I mean.

Both the ovens and the larder units are tall separate units and just bolted together with end panels around the whole!

Hope that is what you are meaning and that you can save some money!

Hi thanks for the pics. I understand what you have, and our other section will be like this. They say when you transition between heghts and/or depths you put one and we do, our boiler unit will be about 7cm deeper. We then have a 900 high wall, a 720 high and then 900 again. Which is why the extra 3 panels in the middle rather than just two ends.. Just seems a bit mad

Ahh, understand now. I guess you will have to or else you will see the carcass of the smaller/shallower unit. However if it is in the utility, can it be shut off, or would it truly bug you to the tune of £200?

Good luck with your decision😉

Just a mini update!

We are having our new back door, window and lintel fitted tomorrow morning so here it starts! Hoping it goes okay. We have a large wisteria against our wall at the side of the kitchen window which is just coming to the end of it's full bloom. DH managed to get a large tie around it at weekend so we could pull it back and away from the window a bit, giving them access. I think it will just about work.

Will try and post some pics tomorrow of the before and after!

I've just started the large task of packing/sorting some things away. Only one cupboard so far hahaha We need some boxes so going to try and track some down this weekend.

I also have handles now go to on our drawers and on the pull out larder, I got these heritage brass ones, the colour is a pretty good match to all the knobs.

Also purchased a new kettle, and a slimline dishwasher.

Eeep, I really need to get moving with packing stuff up. Just had a text from the builder/fitter saying works starts 5 July, so we have just two weekends to sort it all out.. eek its happening! Is it crazy to be excited and really nervous at the same time.

Our back door was done last week, I have a picture but its not terribly exciting. Our old one was always really badly fitted and gaps all over the place, plus the noddy who had it put in also didn't have a lintel put in, but all is sorted now.

A view from outside. Before and after, we will be painting and tidying up outside after its done inside.

I've also got a bit of a faff with the lights I ordered. The date of these coming into stock is constantly getting pushed. I'm assured it will happen but yeah... I have found an alternative on Amazon which is very similar but I still prefer my original ones with the 'X' type side. Will give it a bit longer but not quite sure what to do.

It is perfectly normal to be excited and nervous, it is a huge disruption, big expense, how you are going to cope and making so many choices at once. I was just desperate to cook a proper meal for 4 and serve at the same time rather than everyone 5-6 mins apart due to microwave Towards the end I was just - I just want a kitchen like that and pointing to picture on pintrest Also be prepared for some minor things you wish you might have done differently good luck with it all xxx
