Question Airport to Resort Transport

For our holiday booked later in the year we have decided not to hire a car as the prices have gone sky high!
For the first few days we won’t be in a Disney Resort Hotel so can’t use the Magical Express for airport transfer.
So just wondering the best alternative transport to use, any advice please?

Uber or Lyft, I favour Lyft as it is slightly cheaper but Uber is fine too.I keep both on the phone as they have coupons. Lyft had $5 off 5 rides last time and Uber had 20% off next ride so used both to keep costs down.

How many people and which hotel will be factors. Mears (same company that run DME) operate shuttles to various other resorts as well. But with more than 1-2 people, it often ends up cheaper to get a Lyft or Uber.

Shouldn't be an issue, they're 7 seaters. If it's a small boot, usually they can fold down the rear seats to make extra luggage space.

If you want speed of transfers - taxi is the best route. Walk outside and they're there. Double the price of Uber - it was $45 from airport to our hotel in 2019 (Rosen Shingle Creek) and we priced the Uber at $20-25... but after that flight - easy was perfect and worth the extra $20 all day long.

Pre-booking transfers - good and bad experiences. Usually they're right outside at the agreed pickup point waiting for you.

Pre-booking shared transfers. I would highly recommend not doing this option. You can find yourself sat in a minibus waiting for those who get delayed with cases or other factors - even on a slightly later plane.

Our last trip (Universal) we had a late flight arrival and early morning departure so didn't want to be faffing about with Uber/Lyft so I pre-booked Tony Hinds transportation. He came highly recommended on a FB group, no pre-payment, driver waiting for us at luggage collection and at our hotel on return. I will definitely be using him again for future trips to/from the airport now that ME won't be available.

We use Uber & Lyft to get around during our trips and find them great.
