Budget car hire

Hi all,

I have just changed my fly drive with BA, and as a result they have changed my car hire from Avis to Budget.

I know they are the same company, does anyone know if budget recognises avis preferred?

If not do they have a similar set up so I can bypass the main counter if I sign up? And also is it the same car stock as avis?

Budget is ran as a separate company to Avis, so they will not recognise Avis preferred , they have a loyalty program call fastbreak which shortens your wait to get a car. budget tend to use older cars than Avis

Budget have a digital check in�. Not sure yet if it lets you skip the counter.

Looks like it does

When you�ve reached the Budget rental location, look for the signage that directs you to the key collection point.

Unless the key collection point is the rental desk in the terminal and not the garage

If it�s like avis the keys are in the car already so surely that would mean popping to the little kiosk in the garage like you would do with avis preferred?
