Garden Grill Breakfast

Hey,

Does anyone know if Epcot is planning on longer opening hours in future (preferably before June 2022 ) and serving breakfast again?

I don't think we can handle telling the nephew that he won't be getting breakfast with Chip N Dale.

I don't know the answer, but I hope it's before April! It's my favourite character dining experience 😍

I hope so! It's the only character dining I do.

I can't see them sticking with 11am once the 50th starts, especially with Ratatouille opening. They need to get those crowds churning through. Although it might depend on the construction, full crowd control might be difficult without the rest of WS to absorb it.

We did it OOP last visit "We'll only do it once. Not a fan of American breakfasts"
Uh huh - we all loved it!

I'm hoping the 50th will result in longer hours

I think it might be about staff levels more than anything. World Showcase was full of Cultural Exchange program employees that haven't been able to return yet. The US college program is just starting up again. Disney are struggling to recruit 1000's of staff. Not opening EPCOT until 11 means they only need one shift at the moment.

I think this is the only "when will it open" thread where I didn't mention the staffing issues so thanks for pointing that out.

Although WS never opened before 11 (aside from FEA and a couple dining options) so they don't really need the staff there to open Future World earlier. It just doesn't have enough capacity at the moment to hold crowds, it's basically been reduced to a walkway.

Hopefully they would have made decent progress by Epcot 40, will be a shame if the park is still a mess by then.
