As for myself I used to love the sun. I would stay out in it all day but now I find that it's too much for me. I was saying to my wife that I honestly don't know if I could do Florida now. I always say that it's the last time after the holiday and then like so many other dibbers I go back again, but this time I honestly don't know if I could handle the heat out there as I am struggling with this heat over here
Invest in a proper air con unit for the bedroom as well worth the money if you suffer with the heat.

Go in the winter. We have been in December (minus 2 some days and we wore winter coats) and November (18 most days, 25 one day which we struggled with but some days a really cold wind and the waterparks were shut). Next trip is booked for January.

Like Gill we go normally between Halloween to end of March
Occasionally have had to wear a hoodie and Jeans
Coldest ever was the first time the Pro Bowl came to Florida it was freezing the food stalls ran out of hot coco and coffee before the beer
Only other very cold day was December 2006 we’d just completed on the villa and went to MK with Florida friends we were in shorts and hoodies they were in jeans ugg boots
Jumpers gloves hats etc we just put jeans on before we went for dinner they kept saying you must be frozen we weren’t

My wife would absolutely love to go in the winter Gill. To be honest I think around 18 would suit me but I don't like it really cold lol.

We went one year in December/January and it was around 28 deg every day.

DLP at Christmas is nice and cold though and is always hot like Florida when we go in summer (as I’m sure you know).

I hate the heat, it’s grim. I always seem to be on nights during it too so hot when trying to sleep and humid when working. The last few days it’s been super hot I’ve been caring for covid positive people so in full PPE. Never sweated so much in my life!
I have a cool shower before bed, chills in the freezer and 2/3 fans on the go.
