Christmas isn’t the best time for a birthday as most people tend to forget so the thought of him not even having a cake was so upsetting plus I was 6 months pregnant so a bit touchy anyway but yes my friend was amazing.

My kitchen fitter has a black lab just like mine and was asking if he was a thief, oh no I said, he wouldn’t jump on the worktops.
It’s like the dog heard me. Well next day I get a shout, what has your dog got? I had got distracted whilst preparing dinner, and the little monkey was busy munching his way through a block of cheddar that I was part way through grating 😂

I have had to buy 10 new pairs of socks because seemingly out of nowhere the pairs I have now have holes in them along with 5 pairs of boxers, how on earth did that happen 😂😂😂😂

Our GSD used to steal butter from the fridge and close the door behind her. She also stole some smoked salmon one slice at a time - I was telling DH off for taking a piece when she reached up behind him and deftly took another slice.

One slice at a time! That's challenging when you have opposable thumbs!

Our very first Weimaraner used to be able to open the fridge door and pinch stuff
We thought we’d foil her when we put our very first intregratecappliances in in our 3 rd house with her 30 years ago a handeless kitchen
Nope not Miss Channel ‘CoCo ‘ the day it was put in she went into the kitchen stood a minute then as like as you nice gave us a dirty look walked up to the fridge stuck her nose in the gap opened it and walked away as if to say if I want it I’ll have it
Our Spinones never ever pinched a thing wouldn’t even touch anything from your hand
Nor touch there dishes if we were both in till we both said ok but they lay on top,of them if the other dogs had dare to start without go from us both

We can’t leave any kind of bread out on our worktop or else our cocker will be off down the bottom of the garden with it. He’s an absolute carb monster.

what a cutie I have 2 dogs a 4 year old parsons terrier who will lick you to death - she's partial to a bin raid every nown and again the little so and so - she's also mastered the art of opening the freezer door and emptying the contents, but nothing prepared me for the wrath of my 14 week old pug- he chews everything - he specialises in socks and bras but he will give anything ago - including my parsons ears and tail LOL. last night I caught him head first in my glass of Diet Coke - lord help me!
