I took it back and got a hyundai santa fe instead.

I didn't bother topping up the fuel on the other car as they owe me the difference for 4 days anyway. They didn't check it over either.

I have only drove it back so far but it seems ok, probably not as nice inside as the Cherokee, but a much bigger boot which was what I was after.
