Virtual queue is happening in Galaxy's edge Orlando

Based on our passholder preview last week, I forsee Disney having to use this as the area around Smugglers Run, the Marketplace, Droid building store and Oga's Cantina will become congested very quickly. I imagine it will be something similar to Universal when Diagon Alley first opened and they managed the crowds.

Not too sure if this would be possible but if I entered HS one morning and booked booked a slot for later in the day in the virtual queue, would my family then be able to request to join my boarding group (I would leave them sleep in) or would we all have to be present?

As long as all their names were on your MDE when you did it & you clicked to add all like you do for FP's

I've just looked and I think it will only let you select if you are all in the park.

Watching live stream and it actually doesn't look too bad crowd wise, i guess because they've set up the virtue queue.
Does anyone know what their capacity is?

The live stream I was watching this morning said it had added 25,000 to the capacity of HS.

It may change when they actually get to Florida depending on the crowds at that time I guess - only time will tell

Galaxy’s Edge is currently open access for everyone, no virtual line. We have just left after 5 hours !

We got in this morning. Went on single rider line and rode Millenium Falcon Smugglers Run in under 30 minutes. We all rode together as well which was very lucky. It was busy but manageable. Really well themed and a lot of fun.
