I’ve never flown indirect before so a tad nervous about it but taking a punt at that price!

You’ll be fine! There are so many internal flights in the USA if you miss one you just get on another one! Internal flights are like buses over there! For that price definitely jump on it for 5 of you. Great find 👍🏻

Thanks I’m really happy with it and glad my search is over. I’ve been tracking prices for months 🤩

Sadly we need to fly from the northeast and we’re being absolutely hammered as our connection would be London. We paid 1739 for 23 nights flydrive with 1 stop flights last year, and on 2000 the year before.
We can depart any time after July 20th and must be back home before the end of August. We want 3-4 weeks.

looking too for flights, aug 17 / 18 / 19 approx until 31st or 1st sept. 3 adults 2 children, its a nightmare. I'm on a bit of a budget of £400 pp indirect so £2000 for the flights

BA’s hand luggage is 23kg which although is very generous have you tried to get that amount in a small cabin case and then lift it over your head into the storage compartments? I for one will always need checked luggage as I like to shop too much 😉
Yes at least twice a year for the past ten years, 20kg is 44lbs not exactly weightlifting for the average adult ... as for fitting it all in ,easy with packing cubes and usually room over for some shopping but as stated if I know we will be buying a lot I just pack a nylon fold flat hold-all and pay to check it on the return flight (it’s usually crammed with dirty clothes and the new stuff goes in the carry ons ). One £50 charge rather than £100 pp makes more sense to me... and increases the shopping budget justification !
