Just be mindful that you’re still not covered for cancellation. I’m still reluctant to book even with BA’s book with confidence as you just don’t know what might happen. What happens if you are required to take a test a few days before you fly and you test positive? Or you break your leg? Etc...

I read that as if you did break your leg you would be covered For cancellations as not coronavirus related but if you tested positive and couldn’t go you wouldn’t be covered. Fingers crossed 🤞 neither happens and we all get to go away next summer.

Well, here we are again! I'm desperate to get booked for 2021. We had everything planned this year, flying home today actually, just in time for school to start. Can't be this late next year as my step daughter is getting married, August B/H we think.

Urgh. I got an incredible deal last year and there's nothing looking anywhere near what we paid then. But I'm hopeful we can find something 🤞🏻. Off to look at the ITA Matrix now... I'll fly via Timbuktu if the price is right!

We have been watching BA prices for late July to mid to late August each day as flights are released. Our date became available today and I knew to book early as I've been seeing prices go up by the afternoon. Sure enough two hours after I booked the total price increased by £160. So just a tip to book early in the morning if you are booking on the actual day the flight is released.

This happened with us. I booked on Saturday and the price went up by £400 by the afternoon. Not a glitch as such, but glad it’s booked.

Hope you don't mind me asking but what kind of price did you get? We're used to paying less than £500pp for 23/24 day flydrive with 1 stop flights and I'm not seeing anything less than £1kpp

There isn't anything is there! We paid £2450 for direct flights to Tampa, no car for 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child.
