Update re travel to Spain

As I am keeping an eye on returning home thought I would update you guys on travel information coming out of Spain re covid

english.elpais/society/2...glish20200516m

This link shows that ALL international travellers must go into 14 day lockdown and only residents can enter ( I’m hoping for an August return as a resident I can go whenever). This has now been extended to June 15th

Only five airports and a few ports are allowed to open

This totally goes against information saying that they want to open for the summer.

Some areas dependent on tourism might want to open, but the Spanish government has shown no such inclination.

The quarantine will continue at least as long as the state of alarm is in place (currently to 7 June, but possibly to be extended a further 3 weeks).

The government’s current position is that it is not going to open without quarantine for international visitors until there is free domestic movement between the provinces, and as long as the state of alarm is in place, the provinces can not override the national government on these matters.

Looks like Spain is preparing for tourism.

"Spain to welcome tourists from 1 July with no quarantine"
