Andalucia in October?

Looking at a rural villas here for October, is this a good time to go? Mostly for chilling with the family around the pool, I've no idea if it's even warm enough that time of year to use the pool.

Any advice on the area please? Are we better off sticking with The Canaries?

12 of us have been golfing in the area yearly for the last 20 years
Usually go first week October and have only ever been rained off once
Always played golf in shorts and short sleeved top
Can highly recommend going that time of year

I grew up in Andalucia, lived there for c10 years. October is certainly warmer than here (usually I'd say low twenties), and a quiet time in terms of tourism (barring half terms etc). Definitely chillier in the evenings, and occasionally rain but not too much.

Big difference is location - coastal areas will be noticeably different to the campo. Where are you thinking?

Thank you, not really sure at the moment, we've just been looking for villas and noticed quite a few coming up in Torrox & Nerja that look nice and quiet.

Nerja is a really lovely place and also Frigliana.
The weather is just nice then.
Not too hot or too cold.
We lived in Almeria for 11 years
And I would say that was my favourite time of the year.
