Proper square slice sausage from the butcher on thick plain bread, with butter allowed to melt in then brown sauce added.
Probably only available in Scotland

Roast Chicken, bacon and avocado in a peppery mayo on a rye and caraway roll.
Very specific!
Our local deli make these and they’re my favourite.

I'm going to suggest a love it or hate it sandwich
Dairylee cheese,marmite and crisp sandwich.
Dairylee on one slice ,marmite the other slice then wedge the crisps in-between.

Our local Morrisons here in Hampshire was selling square sausage, at least in the time before C-19.

I’m spoilt for choice over;

Bacon 🥓 sandwich
Sausage sandwich
Prawn 🍤 sandwich

I’ll opt for prawn sandwich with a light covering of self made Marie Rose sauce.

What do you consider to be the best sandwich?
From those three, I would go for prawn.

My current favourite is smoked salmon and cream cheese.

Years ago there was a sandwich shop did ham, peaches, coleslaw and almonds. Sounds strange but was amazing.

My 3 favourites sandwiches are:

Cheese and onion

Salt and vinegar crisps

Mashed avocado, chickpeas, diced onion and whole grain mustard all mixed together.

How in earth did you come up with that last one? Sounds interesting!
