:) organisation or planning tool suggestions

I just wondered what sort of planning/ recording system people use to keep track of all booking details etc., your planned Park days and itineraries etc. but also all the things to help you plan what you need to remember to do and when, before you go? So sort of like a calendar just for Florida I guess which has a to do list/reminder feature and added notes?

Is there any kind of organiser or online tool which anyone has found perfect for this job? i know you can plan your itinerary etc on touring plans but is there anything which is a comprehensive ‘go to’ place to reflect everything, including the months before you go? I don’t mind if it’s online or more paper based...just not sure how to start!

I hope this makes sense

Microsoft OneNote is good because you can sync it up across all your devices. Ideal for to-do lists. Otherwise I use good old Excel spreadsheet.

I just use a spreadsheet - that's about as technical as I can get

Thanks. I am going to have a look at One note, that sounds interesting. On first glance, it looks like you can synch an outlook calendar? If so, I think this would be a really good option...

tripit.com - been using it for years now.

the free version is suitable for most people... paid access is more suited to business travellers

just forward your booking emails to plans@tripit.com and it adds them to your itinerary

for ideas of stuff to do, i stick them in after we get back, so they all appear at the bottom, i then move them into the calendar as i plan what i'm doing.

*edit*
i also use google keep - on the website and my phone to make lists of things i need to do. the list can be shared with others so they can add to it or tick things off as well

I use a spreadsheet and colour code it for the various things:

Blue - table service meal - 1 credit
Dark green - 2 credit meal including dinner shows
Red - counter service meal
Purple - snack
Light green - fast passes

That way I can see at a glance what everything is.

Spreadsheet & Microsoft Word lists for me too.

I keep them all in my Google Drive to access anywhere but also print copies

I have general day to day plan, to do lists lists of QS restaurants per park, snacks I want to try, F&W Festival menus, FP times etc etc. lol
