Come to check in today for our flight tomorrow, BHX-DUB goes fine, DUB-MIA has allocated 3 seats which we can�t change on line, they are all window seats one behind the other - commence total
meltdown in front of our 11 year old autistic daughter which obviously then reduces her to tears worrying about sitting next to a stranger!

Why couldn�t he have just have taken us off to a different room to tell me the news instead of this which will now lead to a stressful night and her saying she would rather not go than sit next to a stranger 😡😡😡

Can you reassure her that most likely you'll be able to swap seats with someone. Your DH obviously wasn't thinking when he let that slip.

No, we didn�t book direct with the airline and were passed back and forth each saying the other was responsible

As it�s less than 48 hours to flying we can�t do anything until the airport now.

Oh dear,feel your pain as have 2 boys with asd and this would stress them out too!-hope you get sorted at the airport.I'm trying not to mention the BA strikes around mine as dont want them to worry!
