What curtains do you have? I have plain grey painted walls but my rugs have patterns on them so I am thinking I need plain curtains 🧐 (all grey & white)
I have got some samples from curtains 2 go but they are tiny lol
Thought I would check on here and nosey at everyone else’s before I order 😃
Photos please 👍🏻

We’ve got navy. Grey walls, flooring and sofa and a mustard, navy and green rug.

These are the two favourite samples so far. Well not actually the favourite, a couple of patterned ones are my favourite but I think they will clash with my rugs ? I know the bottom picture has a pattern on it but it looks more like a wave than it does on the picture.

Are they those day and night blinds?
How do they actually work?
I have never actually thought of putting blinds on my patio doors, how do you find them?

Yes, they’re day and night blinds and we love them! We would have had to lose the curtains before to make the room cosy or block out the blaring sun but now we just adjust the blinds .

I bought them from ebay and we fitted them ourselves - and believe me we are hopeless DIYers!

They’ve got beaded cords and as you pull it the day/night adjusts along with the height of the blind if that makes sense? I’ve attached some pics that might show better what I mean.

First one set to night.
Second set to day (although pic taken in the dark)
Third one full length.
Lastly one half open (again taken at night)

I have got the plain heavy velvet curtains from Next in pale grey in both lounges. I looked everywhere but kept going back to these. I have been really happy with them and they are great value. Have you looked I. The interiors warehouse on the Saddle? They have loads of choice in curtains. The last curtains I had in one of my lounges I had seen in there but then found they were half the price on Wayfair.com. It’s worth having a look in there when they reopen though.

Sounds like you need some colour, we have grey carpet and grey/white walls, our sofas and doors are duck egg blue, I had my curtains made by a local fabric shop and they are a gunmetal grey base with a large/heavy denim blue pattern.

They look fab ... how much light do they block if they are fully up? We need something in the conservatory but at other times we love the full light?

Bedroom is dulux white mist and a feature wall of Laura Ashley coco wallpaper and same grey curtains. I went for an off white/cream carpet ins

Lounge is grey wisp also by dulux with chimney breast in chic shadow. Sofa is black but will be changing, carpet beige and another LA closing down bargain curtains in a grey/blue pattern.

Study we have the day night blinds with chic shadow and dark wood furniture. Sofa bed doesn’t really match but keeping it until kids get houses!

Whole house is light greys beiges and I will add colour with pictures, towels and cushions
Hope these help.
