For those with premium bonds
We are new premium bond owners and put a substantial sum into them in December.
I remember many years ago I had a small amount saved in bonds and received an actual paper bond. Do you still get a paper copy of your numbers or is it all kept online?

No - its all electronic now. Even with the paper ones added to the new electronic version you can still only hold £50k in total - they should all now show on your online account under the various numbers it’s your one NSCI login and winnings are now automatically paid into an account of your choosing (or to buy new PBS if you are under the max and wish to do that)

When we’ve made deposits, we’ve had a letter through confirming the numbers and amount bought as well as being updated online

My mum has to chase up aome of hers from when she was younger evidently she hadnt transferred them to her married name and has only just remembered that she has them. I wonder what we will do with the extra £1 or so when she cashes them in! (She is 85 now, but we are the UNLUCKIEST family in the world -lol)

Ours is all online but when I buy DD more or she wins and has new numbers allocated they send a letter. Not sure if I can turn this off or if it's just because she's a child and I manage her account.

I have mine all online, completely paperless. I love opening the app to the animated Congratulations graphic. My heart does a little flip and then it reveals £25 😆
