Mobile Return tank full or empty?

I can’t add a poll on my phone but I was wondering what does everyone choose to do and why? We are flying into Miami and considering returning the tank empty just for ease but I’d like to hear everyone else’s views and what they have done/will be doing. Thanks

Always return empty could not be bothered on the last day not that I ever have the time filling it up especially if going all the way back to Miami

Always return empty now , not worth the hassle as we only tend to put relatively small amounts in anyway after using the full tank.

Return empty. I have no idea where the closest petrol station is so I prefer just to pre pay for a tank.

Always pay at the desk and bring back empty. Have done for many years now and find it works for us

We add fuel service at the Alamo barrier at MCO having always done OLCI allowing us to STC. Maybe pay an extra $5 for a tank full but then it's my risk on the last day to drive back to MCO on fumes or leave a couple of gallons in the tank.

We don't hire cars in US, but anywhere else and we always return the tank full. I thought you had to.

If you don’t pay for the fuel and return it less than full, is there a difference in price as to what they charge you to refill the tank over what they charge for the prepaid fuel?

So for example, say the tank is 20 gals and you prepay at $3.00 per gallon, so $60.00, how much per gallon would they charge you if you didn’t prepay the fuel, but bought it back with only half a tank and needing 10 gals to fill it back up? Presumably a higher rate or everyone would do it.

I would prefer to buy the fuel in advance so I’m not farting about on the last day trying to find the nearest gas station to the airport, but then I begrudge any fuel I return the car with.
