Plan B, because no free dining 2021

What is everyone's plan B if free dining won't be happening for next year?
And what are your other options?

We would love to go 25 April-14 May 2021.

Plan A: Free dining at POFQ and upgrade dpp or resort.
Plan B: Rent DVC points and pay for food. But my booking window at 11 months opened up yesterday. And I don't want to give up on free dining just yet.
Plan C: Book a neighborhood hotel (still fp at 60 days) and pay for food.
Plan D: Book a villa and pay for food and fp at 30 days

We just want to know what are options are and have a plan if free dining still isn't there in Oct... (@disney, give us a sign! ) What will you do?

We want an all out trip as we want to try for baby number 2 after this so won't be going again for a while.

So had planned, travelling 27th April - 14th May 2021:

Grand Floridian 3 nights (using Davids Vacation Rentals - have vouchers due to having our holiday cancelled in April)
Sapphire Falls 2 nights
Beach Club free dining 11 nights

However, if no free dining for the Beach Club stay, we will do 6 nights Beach Club and pay for standard dining, and 5 nights Art of Animation, saving £500 on top of paying for the Beach Club dining. We would see it as just paying for our food up front rather than getting a good deal, as we didn't have any type of dining last time and it affected what I ordered and just made me generally think of money more, which wasn't as enjoyable!

Stil not sure if we are going next year, but if there is no free dining we will buy a dining plan. We are thinking of April or December, in the case of the latter there will be no free dining anyway.

We have rescheduled to mid October next year from August this year, and have paid for dining. We love DDP, unlikely to be on offer for October anyway

We would just pay for it.

We want to stay at POR and if it isn't free dining we would still want to stay there so we would just pay for the plan. It being free dining isn't a deal breaker for us.

I guess it depends if they bring out any offer at all. If they offer no free dining and no other offer is put on the table I think we would look at staying either in a value resort / one of the partner hotels. I don't think we would want to go offsite if we were doing a Disney holiday. We might even give it a miss in the hope they bring back some kind of dining offer in 2022.

Free dining makes money for them so if they can they will offer it. A lot of people wont go off site so will spend more on other things.

I would like to stay onsite but as a solo traveller it's not cost effective. I would love to see a few single rooms at each resort

I’m hoping for free dining and if budget allows AKL , If not I’ll be happy with any of the moderates and an upgraded dining plan!
If no free dining I will look at renting DVC at AKL & also look into the swan and dolphin as you can get some good prices on these and I love the location.
Still hoping it is released for next year so I can keep my deposit on this years booking! Fingers crossed
