Filling the xmas holiday days

Firstly am grateful we can be off till 5 Jan but i am so bored now! We are tier 4 so not a lot to do, dh cant walk much at all due to surgery in July so he cant really go anywhere, the teens are like hermits in their rooms so i am sat here not knowing what to do. I have a list of films and have been watching some on some days but even getting bored of that. Going for some walks by myself most days,

Might start some work this week or do some jobs round the house that need doing?

Any ideas?!

No ideas but I've been feeling like that for a while now I've not got christmas to plan for I'm very bored.
I've bought myself a teach myself to crochet book, but haven't had the motivation to look at it yet.

My family saw that in lockdown one I did a jig saw a week.

For Christmas I got given 7 new jigsaws. I've done my pre Christmas one and will start the next one today, i think.

Not that anyone was making a point but I got lots of Christmas decoration storage bags
From Santa so I’ll be sorting out what I’m keeping , donating or going in the bin Also need to do some decorating and I’ve a good few books on my kindle to catch up on

I am the same. My dh went back on Boxing Day, albeit he is on day off today. Had planned a walk today but it’s freezing up here and I go like Aunt Sally with wooden legs as soon as I think it’s slippy.
We had watched Curb Your Enthusiasm during the first lockdown but didn’t get through it all before they took it off, so it’s back on again. We will try and get through that.
On my own I watch movies my dh won’t watch. I’ve got a few books to get through. We did all the decorating earlier in the year. Might paint some window sills again.
I am furloughed again till 25th January so will probably ‘spring’ clean again. I think I’m going to wear my washing machine away ...
I got a couple of jigsaws for Christmas but after having tried one earlier in the year, I don’t have the patience.
Will follow with interest for some ideas 😊

I’m off until the 5th, and DH is off till the 4th. We thought it would be a good idea to decorate upstairs whilst we are both off. It’s definitely reinforced the fact that this is the last time we decorate, and will get a professional in future 🤣.

As soon as we were put into tier 4 on the 20th I cancelled my leave for today and tomorrow as knew I would be bored otherwise.

Although, now I’m working today, my half-done jigsaw puzzle is calling me...

i never take the days inbetween off* for this very reason

there is only so many times you can go for a walk.. save holidays for when there is better weather/things to do

Boring, bored, bored, we were taking our doggy for a long walk but it’s freezing. I should go but it’s freezing! 🥶 and did I mention how cold it is! ☃️❄️🌨⛄️
