free Disney to celebrate your birthday

Was this an offer just for this year?
Or is it continuing into next year... ?

hi we are new to this site but im almost sure the birthday gift from disney ends at the end of this year and it is a new scheme were you volunteer a day to a charity organisation and disney gives you a free pass for a day. That is what i think because we are celebrating 2 birthdays next year so we also miss out.

It was just for this year, but 'year of a million dreams' got extended so im hoping this offer will as well. My DD got a card with about $75 on this year & were out there for DH's birthday next year so everything crossed!

I'm hoping this is going to be extended into next year as my DH and me share the same birthday and we are going to spend the day in one of the parks.

I have heard so many different rumours about this,yes it is,no it isn't.I really hope so as its my 40th when we are there in March,oh well I suppose we will have to wait and see!

It ends on 31st December of this year and it is NOT being extended. For 2010 the theme is "Give a day- get a Disney day" where if you do a day's charity work and get it verified (under Disney's terms) you will get a day in a park free in return. The drawback - it's only available to residents of the 50 US States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico or Canada
