I would be happy with that but all I keep thinking is that others will still get it free but as I am staying at the hotel I will have to pay! ☹️

Seems unfair in my opinion on hotel guests who are surely entitled to park onsite at the hotel (part of the perk of staying there in the 1st place). Surely it’s non hotel guests who should be charged if they use the car parks just as they have to pay in the theme park?

Good news for this year at least

I think it will impact quite a bit... I like to have a car as we like to shop etc. I think this is to get guests to not leave th3 Disney bubble and rely purely on Disney for gifts food shopping etc so not to buy offsite where it's ultimately cheaper x

So.. Stay in a deluxe but dump the car at a value hotel and pay cheaper parking if you are not planning to use it for a few days... 😂😂

Or if booked with alamo or the likes.. park it at the Disney car centre 😂😂

On a positive.. This may increase the number of available parking spaces which some do moan about saying the hotel car parks are always packed.

This type of change is "not a massive deal" to the average American who may only visit for 3 or 4 nights... It only tends to be us Europeans who travel there for 2 weeks plus...

I'm thinking we may have to do our onsite stay without a car and pick one up for the following week when we stay offsite. It's going to mean far less cars onsite I'm sure, which may well be part of the plan.

Would parking at the parks still be "free" for resort guests?

I wonder if Uber and Lyft will start increasing their prices as this is bound to have a positive knock on effect for them?
