Disney stay questions

Never stayed onsite before. We are only planning on doing 1 or 2 days Disney. If I book a 1 night moderate stay will parking be free for check in and check out day? And will we still get magic bands etc?

Yes parking at the parks will be free for both those days. You’ll get Magic Bands for everyone in the room and you can go to Extra Magic Hours both days.
From 2020 you’ll have to pay to park at Disney hotels though.

if you're booking a one nighter for 2019 chances are you'll book on the us site, in which case parking at the hotel won't be free. Parking at parks will still be free

if you're booking for 2019 on the UK site, parking will be free at both parks and hotel.

starting in jan 2020 you'll pay at the hotel, but at parks it will still be free from check in to check out day

Have you thought about renting DVC points? You would still get magic bands and would get free parking as well.
